Your personal guide and driver will be waiting for you right next to the passport control to begin your adventure!

Time Activity
8:00 Peter and Paul Fortress After you get through the customs and meet your guide, you will start for the panoramic city tour, that will include stops for picture taking and short walks in the most picturesque and famous venues, such as: Spit of Vassilievsky Island with the famous Rostral columns, Egyptian Sphinx embankment, the Aurora cruiser, St.Isaac`s Square, Field of Mars, Theatre Square with the world famous Mariinsky theatre, St.Nicholas Naval Cathedral, Nevsky prospect, Kazan Cathedral and many more. Having seen the major attractions, you will proceed with the inside tour of one of most beautiful palaces in Saint-Petersburg — the Yussupov Palace. This exquisite mansion provides a good idea of the way of life and habits of a Russian noble family in the 19th — beginning of the 20th centuries. The palace also witnessed the mysterious murder of the “dark force at the crown of the Russian Empire” — a simple Siberian peasant Rasputin, who managed to gain too much influence over the Imperial family. As St.Petersburg is fairly called the “Venice of the North” no tour of the city can be called complete without a river and canal boat trip. We offer you a private boat trip by a comfortable boat that will give you a completely different view of the city, initially designed to be looked at from water. Of course, the city is first of all famous for its numerous museums. Still, it’s always interesting to get an idea what the every-day life of the city looks like. A brief walk of the residential area, visit to a local farmer’s market as well as the metro (=subway) tour are included in the itinerary to show you where average St.Petersburg citizens live, work and shop.

13:00 Russian Cusine Having visited so many sights, we suggest you have a short break and offer you the fixed-menu lunch in a traditional Russian restaurant for you to get the idea of another important aspect of the Russian culture — the traditional Russian cuisine.

14:30 Russian Cusine One can hardly imagine a tour of our wonderful city without an inside visit to the Hermitage museum. The most famous museum of Russia that stretches along the Neva River, occupies 5 buildings and houses more than 3 million works of art can’t fail to impress you!
To sum the day up, you will have some time for shopping in one of the best souvenir shops or a flea-market — upon your choice.

18:00 Return on board the ship

DAY 2

Time Activity
9:00 Meet your guide at the port terminal. Continue the city tours

10:00 The modern hydrofoil will take you to Peterhof — a breath-taking ride across the Gulf of Finland.

10:30 Your first major visit for today is to Peterhof. You will spend a couple of hours surrounded by the incredible beauty of Peterhof Lower and Upper Fountain Gardens.

14:00 Next on our tour is the spectacular Catherine Palace, built for empress Elizabeth and called in honour of her mother, Catherine 1 (Peter the Great’s wife). Catherine II a.k. Catherine the Great loved this summer residence and in her days Catherine Palace and Park ensemble was developed and flourished gaining more and more beauty and fame. Our tour includes state rooms of the Catherine Palace, the world-famous Amber room and a walk in the gardens.

16:30 return on board the ship.

It may be necessary to see the sights in a different order, subject to the museum days-off.
Your licensed guide will accompany you on the inside visits and provide the commentary and answer your questions.
